Why chewing supports dental care
In 2026, the AVMA reported that periodontal disease affects nearly 80% of dogs by age three; research shows chewing helps remove soft plaque before it hardens into tartar. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, Per the AVMA's 2026 pet dental guidance, a textured chew is a daily supplement to brushing — not a replacement.

Finally a toy my pitbull cannot destroy
My pit Moose has destroyed every 'indestructible' toy I've bought in under an hour. Not this one. 8 weeks in, still has the squeaker, rubber intact, no punctures. He chews on it for hours. The claim is real. If you have a power chewer like mine, stop buying other toys and just get this.

Worth the price for aggressive chewers
Yes it costs more than a $5 Walmart toy. But my Rottweiler Zeus has gone through $200+ of cheaper toys in a year. This one has lasted 3 months of daily destruction and is still squeaking. Do the math — it's a deal. Solid construction, heavy-duty rubber, no weird chemical smell.

Tough but slightly too hard for my dogs mouth
Dog is a 7yo German Shepherd with some dental wear. The rubber on this is SO firm that I worry about her teeth on extended sessions. I only let her chew it 15 min at a time now, which still works but I wish there was a slightly softer option. Indestructibility confirmed though. 4/5.
