Keeps my anxious dog occupied for 30+ minutes
Ruby has separation anxiety and destroys things when I leave. This puzzle ball = lifesaver. I stuff it with her regular kibble before I leave and she spends 30-40 min working it out, then naps. The holes are the right size for kibble to fall out gradually but not too easily. Two months in, still holding up.
Surprisingly durable for my power chewer
Have a 3yo pitbull mix named Duke who destroys most toys in under a week. This puzzle ball has survived 6 weeks of daily use. Some scratches and chew marks on the outside but functionally perfect. I rotate it with other toys so it doesn't get boring. Good build quality.
Mental stimulation champion (with one caveat)
Dog (beagle, Lulu, 5yo) loves this and it tires her out mentally better than a walk. Only issue: she has figured out that if she throws it hard against the wall, treats come out faster. So I hear 'THUNK... thunk... thunk' for 20 min. Minor annoyance. Still a great product.
